Co-creation guidelines for facilitators in multi-cultural settings

What was the challenge

  • The main goal of U_CODE project is to create an environment for Urban Co-Design. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program.
  • My graduation project was a cross-cultural study on co-creation sessions held in different countries. As an outcome of the project, I designed guidelines for the facilitators to organize the U_CODE co-creation sessions in the Netherlands, Germany and France.

What was my contribution

  • I conducted a research on cross-cultural impact on the group dynamic during the co-creation sessions.
  • I designed a guideline for facilitators on how to organize co-creation sessions in different cultures based on different co-creation and facilitation techniques.
  • Finally I designed a digital app for facilitators responsible for multi-cultural co-creation sessions in the context of U_CODE project.
