My approach towards service design

Like many other service designers, I follow the Design Thinking approach in my projects. However, there are three qualities that define my personal approach towards Design Thinking:

I strongly believe that customer should be involved in the process of design from the very beginning:
  • To deeply understand the customer, their needs and context via interviews and observations. This cannot be achieved without empathy.
  • To analyze the identified needs (both qualitative and quantitative) and define the “job to be done”, pain-points, “moments of truth”, gaps and opportunities.
  • To brainstorm, co-create, test and validate the proposed solutions with the help of customer.

  • 2020 | Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA), Customer Experience masterclass

  • 2017-2019 | Delft University of Technology, MSc Design for Interaction
  • 2012-2014 I University of Art, MA Industrial Design
